Saturday Play Day

Jean graciously opened her home Saturday to anyone who wanted to come and play dolls, er, I mean... work on their doll projects. She also allowed me to take some pictures of her whimsical creations so I could post a short picture tour on the blog for our readers. This is very short tour; she has dozens and dozens of these delicious fabric confections. Perhaps next time I can take a few more shots.

We had a great time as Doreen & Sheryl worked on their projects, Jayne & Jean gave Laurie and me (Connie) a lesson on how to draw faces.
Over lunch, it was so much fun for the newbie (me) to hear stories about how the club began, how people met, doll conventions, etc. One of the things I'm most fascinated by in art dolls is the wild array of materials used to create their hair. I love this silver fringe!
Jayne brought the most lovable looking creature I think I've ever seen. Check out this guy:

Is he not adorable!!??

Mr. Personality!
"Hey, be sure you get my good side!"
