TDD October Show & Tell

Welcome to our October Show & Tell!

Before we begin, I need to apologize for the quality of pictures. Our meeting went a little long, some had to get back to work and so photographing Show & Tell was a tad rushed.

A few months ago, Carlyn had the fun idea of proposing a doll head exchange challenge. The idea was to bring a head that you weren't particularly happy with. By random drawing, someone would take the head, create something cool with it, bring it to the October meeting and return it to the original owner.

Everyone did an outstanding job of rockin' their artistic side!

Even though it's October, it wasn't all  witches & pumpkin heads....

Jean's doll was positively - dare we say it? seductive? This gal definately has attitude.

She's carrying Jean's signature beaded bag with matching beaded border on the overskirt. Sassy boots complete the look.

And check out that "fascinator" perched on her head!

Connie is making Barbara Schoenoff's "Circus Girl" doll. Eventually she'll be juggling some hearts while standing on a colorful ball, but she was anxious to see the Dames first!

And last, but not least, Lisa won the door prize - a pair of dancers embroidered by Jack which can be worn as pins.

Next weekend is the fall workshop with instructor, Stephanie Novatski. We're so excited! Check back in a week or so to see pictures.
